Obviously when your planning a major fishing trip or holiday, there are many questions you may have. Below a selection of some of the most commonly asked questions with answers accordingly.
BEFORE YOU ARRIVE
Q: Do your packages include flights?
A: We do not sell flights. Your booking with us starts when we collect you at Bangkok Airport or any pick up point you request in Thailand.
Q: Do I need any injections /jabs?
A: Please consult with your GP before you travel, but most tourist areas of Thailand are low risk for malaria and other tropical diseases.
Q: How can I book and pay?
A: You can book via our booking engine, or make your inquiry via the contact us page on the website. To secure a place a deposit is required with the balance payable in cash on arrival.
Q: Can I get a discount?
A: We run a number of different promotions throughout the year. Please subscribe to our newsletter to find out more. If you re-book and pay a deposit before your departure a loyalty discount is available.
Q: Can I fish HALF days?
A: Yes, however half days are only bookable once on the resort and at the managers discretion subject to availability on the day.
Q: Do I have to book?
A: You don't have to book, but many months in high season (October to April) will be full before the date arrives. We recommend booking a minimum of 6 months in advance to avoid disappointment.
Q: Can I drive myself to the resort?
A:You are welcome to make your own way to the resort. HOWEVER, please note that last check in time for self-drive is 9PM.
Q: What happens if the lake floods?
A:If the lake floods and we can not access the footpaths and swims then we offer a choice of 1) roll deposit over to another booking / day. 2) fishing at another venue.If it's just rain but the swims and lake are still accessible the above does not apply and we follow our usual booking terms and conditions
Q: Do you have a swimming pool?
A: Yes we have a fantastic swimming pool!
Q: Do the rooms have hairdryers?
A: Hair Dryers are available from reception
Q: What time is Check In?
A: 2PM (early check in possible if room is free. If you are self drive last check in is 9PM).
Q: What time is check out?
A: 12AM. Late Check Out available on request at time of booking.
Q: What are the fishing hours?
A: The fishery opens each day at 7AM, fishing ends at 6:30PM or dusk which ever comes sooner.
Q: Can I bring my own rods and reels and other tackle?
A: Yes you can bring your own tackle, but please ensure it's suitable for use first you should have a minimum of 60lb Braid. 4lb Test and no less than 10ft in length.
Q: Can I bring my own bait?
A: We do allow outside bait, but this needs to be shown to the fishery manager before it used. Unopened branded baits only.
Q: Can I tie my own rigs?
A: You can, provided you discuss your ideas with the fishery manager before finally casting them out.
Q: How much bait is included?
A: 2000BHTS worth of bait is included in your daily ticket. This is up to 20kgs of deadbait, 10kgs of Pellet or 8kgs of freezer boilies, or any combination of the 3
Q: What Items should I bring?
A: Other than your own personal items every you need to fish is included in your package.
Q: Is night fishing permitted?
A: Subject to availability both of swims and staff Night Fishing is sometimes available, but only bookable on the resort and subject to availability.
Q:What clothing should I bring?
A: Since all fish are unhooked and photographed in the water, swimming shorts and quick drying lightweight shirts are useful. Also useful are neoprene socks/diving socks to keep your feet clean in the water.
